This is a collection of poems I wrote after my first experience being on medication—specifically Zoloft. It’s full of reflections on life, death, gender, and the strange, fleeting texture of medicated joy. It captures a very specific headspace: one where the world started shifting, and I was just beginning to see what happiness could feel like, even if it didn't always stay.
